term reflection

Term reflection. This term we have been doing lots of things like bowls, speeches, cantamaths, film festival, and much more I will be writing about a few of those. Film festival This term we had to make a film 3 to 5 minutes long me Jacob, mark, and Reid made a film about a bank robbery we did good until jacobs camera started making we had to voice overs. the best part of making the film was editing it because we got to play around with the music and do voice-overs. The funniest thing was when we were filming the robbery scene and Reid didn't know what to do after he ran away so he just bobbed down. Speeches Halfway through the term, we had to make a speech we could do it on anything we wanted to so I did mine on rugby is better than league it was easy to write because it is true. the most challenging thing was presenting it in front of the school. The best part was when Mrs Gibson laughed for no reason and it made me start laughing academic This term we have been doing reciprocal reading, reciprocal reading is when you are in groups and you have a job you have to do the jobs are leader, reader, questioner, predictor, clarifier and summariser. it has been working because everybody does their job the worst part is not being the leader.

Wellington camp

Wellington camp

On the 6th of May, we went to Wellington for camp we went to great places my most fun moment was adrenaline forest I couldn’t go on the really high ones but it was still fun. My most memorable moment was going to the pool because we went to the wave pool and two people got to got down the hydroslide at a time. The place we stayed at was a great place at night we played games like a spotlight and some other games. the worst part was the drive up and back because it was a really long drive and on the way back I felt sick the whole way.

Typing is more important than handwriting, persuasive writing

Typing is more important than handwriting
In my opinion, I believe that typing is more important than handwriting.

In the future, there will be more technology so there will be more need to learn how to type and there will be no handwriting so it would useless knowing how to do handwriting.

It is proven that typing helps with arthritis so if you have arthritis start typing now so in a few years you will be better. Also, you can write things faster just imagine writing a whole letter in 2 minutes that would be great.

Typing is tidier than handwriting so it is easier to read and easier to write so it just makes everything easier for everybody.  Also, ink is bad for the environment so if we keep using pens we will ruin the environment.

I ran down the field side stepping other players. I ran as fast as lightning, I was nearly at the line I dived I new momentum would take me over the line I slid about ten meters and scored the try I felt amazing. The score was 22-21 the pressure was on Aaron Cruden he had to get the kick over I was so nervous my feet were shaking like I was in the North Pole . If he didn’t get it we would lose to the Australians. he kicked it and it bounced off the post and went over the posts. We won the game the crowd went wild, they were screaming and jumping up and down. I could see their arms waving up and down in the air. I was as happy as a hamster having a hilarious hair day .

Olympic Moment In Time

GOAL Describe a moment in time in detail.
3,2,1 the race started I was pumping my arms as hard as I could. I was running as fast as lightning. I was close to the other runners but ahead of them. It was really hard  but I ran harder than ever. I could hear the crowd was cheering for my country and me. I finally made it to the finish line and got a gold medal.
